Demon
Mouse is actually a misnomer, as there is absolutely nothing demonic about
them. They were simply created by Shadras, a wizard of some renowned, and friend to Galathrax. She used
magic to twist the form of some mice, just to see what they would do. This
small, furry creature somewhat resembles a rat, but has horns and wings for
gliding. These docile rodents
thrive just about anywhere, where they eat mostly nuts, berries, and small
insects.
Combat: Demon Mouse (Mice) are extremely timid
and run at the first sight of danger, biting or ramming only when cornered.
Skills: Demon Mice have a +8 bonus racial bonus on Balance. A Demon
Mouse uses its Dexterity modifier instead of its Strength modifier for Climb
checks.
Demon Mice As Familiars: A Demon Mouse may be selected as a
familiar. It grants its master a +3 bonus on balance checks, but also incurs a
-1 penalty to any form of fear the character may face, whether by spell, or by
not.
